What is RealityMine?
RealityMine is a mobile passive meter. Where consent has been granted, the app tracks all activity on the mobile phone in order to generate behavioural data.
Mobile phones supported
The technology is supported across iPhone, Android, BlackBerry and Symbian Nokia phones.
How it works
The app records whatever is happening on the front screen of the phone, so it is a true reflection of how the phone is used. This means it also knows when the phone is switched off or in standby mode. It even records usage while the phone is offline.
Privacy
Some of the information collected by the app can be considered sensitive and as such Lumi Mobile has been careful to create a clear privacy policy to ensure that respondents understand how their data is used. Click here to read it.
How is the data used?
Our clients use this data in a variety of ways, often in an aggregated form to measure trends. However, it is also being used alongside Lumi’s mobile consumption diaries to understand location, online usage and other respondent behaviour in relation to an active diary.
